The North Shropshire based Solace Holistic Training Academy has been established to deliver flexible training in complementary holistic therapies. A comprehensive range of courses is offered, from recreational learning to practitioner level. Introductory workshops allow you to obtain a taste for holistic therapies for leisure and personal use. Intensive training courses are designed to achieve a fully accredited qualification which enables you to obtain insurance to practice your newly acquired skills. All courses have been awarded with relevant CPD points and verified and fully accredited for membership and insurance by the Guild of Holistic Therapists and the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists.
Solace has been established by Alison who is an experienced therapist and tutor and is a member of the Association of Therapy Lecturers (ATL) in the Federation of Holistic Therapists, Honorary member of the Guild of Infant & Child Massage, holds a teaching certificate in adult education and is a VTCT Assessor. Alison has 15 years experience as a therapist within Holistic & Beauty Therapies including Reflexology, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Body Massage, Beauty Therapy, Indian Head Massage, Reiki Master, Crystal Healing, Bach Flower Remedies, Infant and Pregnancy Massage. She is devoted to Holistic Therapies and education and has been teaching within local colleges for 7 years. As well as private training, Alison teaches within Local and Community Colleges at NVQ 3 and advanced levels (including VTCT). Her aim is to inspire and introduce future generations to the benefits of complementary therapies through education and knowledge. Alison has also started a Holistic Therapist Network to encourage therapists, local holistic businesses and like-minded people to support each other, share knowledge and work together.
Workshops and Courses are available at Women in Mind throughout the year. Private workshops for groups / colleagues / corporate parties can also be arranged. Please contact us for details.
